Ever wonder why certain singers are successful while others are not? We can all think of examples of really well-liked musicians who, although having less talent, were nonetheless fairly successful. So what constitutes the distinction? Since I've been teaching voice lessons for almost ten years, I've observed two characteristics—or perhaps I should say "mindsets"—that set successful musicians apart from those whose talent is there but whose flame dies before they achieve success.
