NATALIA CHASE
Owner/Lead Vocal Coach
Natalia Chase, born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, found her passion for music early on. As a teenager, she began studying voice under a former college professor and Broadway singer, quickly becoming a lead soloist at school and church events. Her vocal training continued in her 20s, studying under a gospel professor at Morehead State University and later a classical professor at The Ohio State University.
An inspired writer, Natalia has written songs across three genres, allowing her heartfelt lyrics and melodies to resonate with many. Over the years, she has made several notable appearances, including as a finalist on Fox 28/ABC 6’s reality show Pepsi's Gimme the Mic and a guest on Good Day Columbus with Johnny DiLoretto. She has also performed live on Sunny 95’s *Dino and Stacy in the Morning Show* and the station’s annual Old-Fashioned Christmas Show. Her song "Steady Like the Rain" received significant radio play on Sunny 95, reaching number 10 on their charts.
Natalia's full-length record, More, released in 2018, saw her original song "Breakthrough" played on radio stations, including Noize Radio Live, NAM-Radio, and Voice of Worship Radio, while her work was featured on Gospel Centric and in Music Lov3rz Magazine. In April 2022, she had the honor of performing "Breakthrough" live with the Unified Choir at Nationwide Arena during The Classic for Columbus All-Star game and Celebrity Extravaganza.
Dedicated to continuous learning, Natalia stays updated on the latest vocal techniques through her work with L.A.-based music producer Colin Boyd, who collaborates with Grammy-winning and nominated artists.
In 2013, Natalia founded VoiceActivated, a platform aimed at sharing her wealth of industry knowledge with aspiring musicians of all levels. She has taught privately, online, and in group workshops, as well as serving as a vocal lab instructor at Southeastern University’s Polaris Campus. With excitement and joy, she has watched some of her students achieve incredible milestones, from receiving the golden ticket on American Idol to earning vocal scholarships and gaining radio airplay. Inspired by their success, Natalia spent five years developing her signature vocal training curriculum, designed to help singers discover the beauty and power of their voices and develop into confident performers.
